BECOME A REFEREE

 

ARS Lac St-Louis has nearly 900 affiliated referees who officiate matches from U9 to Senior age categories at Local, A, and AA levels. Please read the information below for more information on becoming a referee within our region.

 

Requirements:

ARS Lac St-Louis is looking for people who are interested in becoming referees for the summer 2018 season.

  • Minimum age of 14 years old
  • Have regular access to email/phone and be self-sufficient in communicating with colleagues and superiors
  • Be able manage a schedule of assignments and respect commitments. This includes entering availabilities
    into an online software application each month
  • Be available to take a district referee course during a weekend (approximately 9am to 5pm on both days)
    before the beginning of the season
  • Have an adequate understanding of soccer (experience as a player, coach, or spectator)
  • Physical fitness is an asset

  • Ability to manage pressure
